Hi everyone!

I have just started this crafting blog here at Blogger! I currently have blogs both at my personal site: http://blog.lostmitten.org and Vox: http://lostmitten.vox.com so I am looking forward to joining the community here at Blogger!

I will be crafting about my own handmade creations that I create for myself, my friends, and for my Etsy store - Lost Mitten! I also love to feature the work of talented artists from around the web.

As for the things that I create, I love to craft many things inspired by video games - I'm a huge fan of old school games for the NES and SNES, as well as newer stuff for the Wii and Nintendo DS. Some of these creations include original Perler Bead crafts, needlepoint items, Nintendo DS cases, and pinback buttons. Other things that I love to make are knit wearables, journals, button jewelry, Chiyogami buttons, and more!

I also love kawaii Japanese things and many things about Japanese culture! I have started to attempt to teach myself how to learn Japanese, so if there is anyone else out there who is attempting this, I'd love to meet you and talk about how you're doing with it!

I'm looking forward to meeting fellow crafters and artists through this site as well! Well, I'm going to make a pot of coffee and settle down to work on some needlepoint fridge magnets for the shop...hope that everyone enjoys their evening!
