FO: Double Crochet Afghan and Happy 5th Anniversary!

Happy 5th Anniversary to my sweetie!  Paul and I celebrate five years of being together today!  As a complete surprise to him, I crocheted him this afghan as an anniversary present.  I wanted to make him something that would last forever and that could be in our family forever!  We both enjoy neutral shades of browns and grays, so I know it will match our decor no matter where we live in the future.

I made this afghan really big - it is still folded over in the second image even - I wanted something that we could both cuddle up underneath.  It is made with Marble Chunky and the afghan is just made in a basic double crochet.  I actually made this blanket in two weeks, believe it or not, and it was difficult to work on it because I had to wait until Paul wasn't around!

Paul totally loves the gift, hooray!  I hope that you enjoyed viewing the afghan, too!

Very nice afghan. You must have zoomed through it if you finished it that quickly and it is that large.
