Postcards Received in March

In March, my mailbox was very happy and very full! I have been a little more active lately on Postcrossing exchanging a few cards last month. I've also received a few postcards from family and pen-friends! Thank you to everyone who has mailed postcards to me for my collection!  Here are a few of my favourites from last month!  The first card above is from Costa Rica, and Paul's Dad mailed it to us from his vacation in February.

This postcard was an official Postcrossing card, DE-1289579.  It shows a beautiful natural scene of Johannapark in Leipzig.  It looks so peaceful and serene there!

Here is a beautiful handmade postcard from Seattle, Washington that arrived in my mailbox as an official Postcrossing card, US-1586652.  I just love the intricate details in this hand-cut postcard!

Here is another official Postcrossing card, HK-54154, showing a bustling nighttime scene of Hong Kong. The picture shows a traditional marketplace where you can find antiques and other rare items. The view and bright lights shown in this card makes me feel like I'm right there in Hong Kong!

This postcard shows the Sahara Desert in Algeria. It actually arrived to me in an envelope from Finland in a swap I did with a Postcrossing member. It was originally sent to her from Algeria and it is actually my very first postcard from this country! That makes it pretty special as the only other cards I have from Africa are from South Africa.

I hope that you enjoyed this little view of my mailbox from last month! I have all of my postcards scanned and available to see in my Picasa Web Album, along with the postcards I have for trade if you are interested in trading! I haven't updated my trade album in a little while so I have other cards too...I hope to update it very soon! You can see the cards for trade in the album marked "For Trade", and all of the postcards in my collection are sorted into albums by country.
