WIP: Ravinia Cardigan
After the frogging disaster of the last sweater I attempted to make, I decided it would be best to get a fresh start on something new. I purchased the kit for Ravinia back at the Knitters Frolic in 2011! It has been hanging around the house for a little while and I decided that it would be a great new project to start. I'm hoping to have it ready for the Fall as it is a wonderful knit cardigan.
I purchased the kit from one of my favourite yarn shops (well, their booth at Knitters Frolic!), The Needle Emporium. The yarn is Lorna's Laces Shepherd Sport in "Kerfuffle". It is hard to tell from the photographs but it is a smokey shade of deep purple-gray.
So far so good on this one...and because it is from a kit and the sizes are fairly pre-determined based on the yarn, there will be less chances of frogging this one because it doesn't fit properly! Although I don't want to jinx it!

That looks like it's going to turn out very pretty! I've been wanting to knit myself a sweater lately, but I'm scared of also having to frog the damn thing! Maybe a kit really is the way to go. Good luck with this one!
